The built-in scan is deliberately narrow and auditable.
High-confidence patterns:
- U.S. SSN pattern
- Chinese national ID pattern
- Chinese mobile pattern
Medium-confidence:
- labeled name
- labeled address
The report never stores the raw match. It stores a short SHA-256-derived hash, file path, line number, rule ID, and confidence.
This is not a certification of de-identification.
